Belief in the Hereafter and Obedience to
the Prophet

This world is a cultivating ground for the next world
Death brings an end to our life on this earth. It will come to all of us. Allah will then bring us back to life again. No one can be a true Muslim without having a firm belief in the life after death and the Day of Judgement.
On the Day of Judgement, everything on this earth will be destroyed. On that day, all human beings will assemble before Allah. He will ask us how we lived our life on earth. Those people who followed the rules given by Allah, obeyed His commands and lived a good life will be rewarded. They will go to Heaven which is a place of peace and happiness. Those who disobeyed Allah’s commands, did wrong deeds and lived a wicked life will be punished. They will go to Hell where they will live in pain and suffering.
Life on earth is meant to prepare us for life after death. It is a testing place for human beings, the results of which will be declared on the Judgement Day. Life will be meaningless if good deeds are not rewarded and bad deeds not punished. If we do good and noble actions in this world, we shall be given a reward in the life Hereafter. If we lead a sinful life, we shall be punished.
In order to be rewarded in the next world, we should follow Allah’s guidance which He has sent to us through Prophet Muhammad(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam). We should live in this world according to the teachings of Allah and His Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam). If we disobey Allah, we will suffer a great loss. As Muslims, we should not disobey Allah in any way. We must try our best to be successful in the test in this world. Only then, will we get our reward from Allah in the next world.
Obedience to the Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) is Obedience to Allah
Hazrat Muhammad(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) is the last prophet and messenger of Allah. The Quran was revealed as a guidance to the Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) by Allah. He taught us by his own example how to live in this world as servants of Allah. We cannot obey Allah unless we follow the Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) and accept the guidance he gave to us. For he told us all that we know about Allah and His commands. He gave Allah’s message to us. Therefore, as Muslims, we have to follow his teachings.
The life of the Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) is a model for everyone to follow. As Muslims, we have to follow his example. We must accept his guidance. We must love, honour and obey the Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam)
Allah wants us to obey the Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam). The Quran says that if you love Allah, and want Him to love you, you should follow the Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam)
There are many rules and commands laid down in the Holy Quran which have not been explained in detail. The Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) explained these commands to his followers. There are many issues which have not been dealt in detail by the Holy Quran. The Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) also explained these to his followers. That is why, wherever the Holy Quran commands its followers to obey Allah, it also commands them to obey the Holy Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam). It goes so far as to declare that obedience to the Prophet(sal lal la ho alai he wasalam) is obedience to Allah.
